Welcome

In its 7th consecutive year, the Vancouver Festival of Ocean Films (VFOF) inspires audiences to consider their relationship with the ocean through regional and international documentaries that focus on adventure, sport and the global issues that our waters currently face.

Through experiences with our oceans, the VFOF aims to educate, motivate and excite audiences.

Join us on June 5th, 2016 at the Vancity Theatre from 4pm-10pm for another great day of ocean films!

VFOF-2015_nologosIn 2015, VFOF screened two feature-length documentaries (from Swiss and American directors), as well as a short film that was part of the evening showing. Audiences were transported to northern Greenland, Alaska, a tiny Polynesian island, and to the depths of South America along the Chilean coast. They experienced breathtaking cinematography that shines light on the global challenges that our waters currently face.

We look forward to sharing this year’s program with in the spring!
